The high illicit  pregnancies and divorces are occurring because of roses that were plucked before they blossomed  sex is sacred and preserved for the married folk only…

Being a male is by birth, being a man is by sex, but being a gentleman is a price very few are willing to pay. The reverse is true, being a female is by birth, being a woman by sex but being a lady is a process, you must choose to become a diamond in the rough. Ask yourself these few rhetorical questions, where is Gold found? How does diamond achieve it’s lustre? Where are cheap construction rocks found? Where is clay found? Compare and contrast, place your value in the right place, what you entertain is eventually what you will become.

Most of us are struggling to control our behaviors and actions because we lack control over our emotions and feelings. And we don’t have control over our thoughts because we are not controlling what we believe. *John 3:31, …he that’s from above is above all…*

THE GOD OF MUSIC

​*THINKING OUT LOUD* 

Why should we let the devil have all the brilliance and excellence of good music? 

Why should we offer half-baked, inane and debased music to an Excellent God, a mighty God? Worship has come very much to the forefront in the body of christ and we *must* therefore set a prodigious standard for the same; let there be a proliferation of new songs, worship albums and books to revive and renew Biblical worship.  

Secular artists are dropping new albums each month, here we are still singing “kama siyo wewe” and “amazing grace” in the same manner that we did a decade ago. Understand that we were created to worship the King of Kings. Kingdom place demands Excellence. Let’s examine the worship (as regards music expressionism) and place a proper and Biblical perspective to the same. We serve a God of music. He created Lucifer, a Music demagogue, who in pride exalted himself and was so impeached and banished from the heavens. 

I am saddened by the massive dilution of the Gospel and the spiritual stagnation in our times. A mere form of godless, etrapolately powerless. 

Those involved in leading and playing in worship need to be aware of two real problems, one is the  commercial hype which is building up around worship Music, and the other the tension between musical styles and tastes. Remember that worship is for God. God created music and He knows what type of music is appropriate for worshipping Him…

Worship is the source of vitality and freshness of Church Life. We therefore need to revive and renew styles and forms of worship that are dead. This includes playing of musical instruments and choice of songs. 

•It’s very important to examine music from a Biblical perspective, the proper perspective, walking and working with God. Understand that worship is not only a necessity but also a priority in Church life. 

•Relationship between church leaders, musicians and worship leaders is therefore indelibly important for developing worship.

•Understand that principles govern each facet of the Church’s Musical Life. 

   *THE GOD OF MUSIC* 

•I propose to you that God loves music. I echo the words of the 60s Youth Church, *”why should the devil have all the good music?”* 

• Music is a very emotive subject, especially because it always, which should not be the case, arouses prejudice rather than rationality. But know this, Music as a creative art is amoral, it’s man, in his fallen state that translates the amoral music to become either moral or licentious, noble or ignoble. 

• The outflow of a spirit-filled life is the desire to worship, understand that man is a spirit, and that man by nature, is spontaneously a worshipping being. 

• In as much as music is not worship it can be induced and imbued as a tool and media of worship, the good book exults us to sing a new song unto the lord, a euphonious and paean praise unto the king of kings, with harps, lyres and cymbals; *GOD is interested in Excellence of Music* 

•God not only created music, He Himself is a maestro, an impeachable musician the Bible shows God singing in

*PART ONE*

      *Vision* is what we see, but it is also the way in which we see. Vision is the lens that interprets the events of our life, the way we view people and our concept of God. If we have a scratch on our glasses, it may seem like everybody around us has scratches too, but the problem actually lies with us because our vision is impaired. Jesus said that our eyes are the windows of our heart. Paul prayed that the eyes of our heart would be enlightened. In other words, we perceive with our eyes but we see with our hearts.
Our minds receive images from our eyes but our heart interprets these images. If our heart becomes bitter, jealous, hurt or in someway infected, the lens of our heart is distorted. What we perceive is happening and what is really going on could be two completely different things. Jesus said, “You will know the truth and the truth will make you free” *(John 8:32).* The word truth used here is not referring to the Bible itself, (although all truth is rooted in the Bible) but here the word truth means reality. Jesus is saying, you will understand what is real and that will free you. So many of us live in a virtual reality. 
The way we view life can feel and look real, or make perfect sense, but still not be real at all. Have you ever watched a good movie and gotten totally into it? You experience all the emotions of real life. You may even leave the theater still “feeling” the movie, but it was just a movie? it was never real. The truth is: we see what we believe to be true. 
Another way to put it is, if you have the wrong pretext you will misunderstand the context. Having a revelation of what is real will deliver us from a life of torment that virtual reality often causes.
*ESTABLISHING CORE VALUES*

Therefore, the things we believe to be true determine the way in which we interpret life. These “things” are called “core values.” Core values are the lens or eyes of our heart. It is important for us to realize the incongruence between what our core values presently are and what we really want them to be. Often, the things we say we believe and the things we actually believe are not the same. 
We must understand that it is not the truths that we believe in our head that are our core values, but rather the ones we believe in our heart. The things we perceive to be true determine the way we respond to the world around us and to God who lives within us.

Those without vision spend their lives taking the path of least resistance as they try to avoid discomfort. The level of sacrifice that a vision requires will determine the size of people who follow. Sacrifice separates the small from the great.

The first part of accomplishing any vision is to take it from the unseen world and bring it into the natural realm. This can be accomplished by simply writing down the vision. Articulating the vision on paper pulls the dream that is in your spirit (that no one can see but you) into the visible world so that others can capture it in their own hearts.

Are you in a pit-situation? Pressed between the devil and the dead sea? Between the rock and a hard place, have you lost your possession, position and people. One of the most difficult questions to ask God in a difficult situation is the question why? We have the propensity of asking the question why me? Why now? But this is an Illicit human inclination. God hasn’t designed life to be experienced in a vacuum.

Everything that happens in your life (the good and the bad) is set up and orchestrated not for your detriment but for your lifting. Learn from your crisis, never batter yourself and swim in your misery, let the situation know, “you may be in my life, but you won’t negate my life!” Because weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. I propose to you that there’s a purpose for every trial. God uses trials to uplift us to greater purpose; as He says in the book of James,*(James 1:2-4 New International Version (NIV)

Trials and Temptations

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.)* 

Which posses this parallel question; Can you praise God even in a crisis? Can you still give sacrificially even while in a pit situation of desperate luck? 

Understand that this is the ultimate test of character for a true believer. I propose to you that it’s not by happenstance that you had to go through whatever you went through. God is always doing something in us and through us during our trials. So don’t pray that God should take you out of your pit-situation but rather ask God to get in it. 

Mark this, you’re safer with Jesus in the storm than you are safe on your own. The crisis will not destroy you, it will strengthen you. He’ll cover you in your darkest moment, dwell in the shadow of His wings, for He that dwells in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of,the almighty.

Your haters can’t harm you, I suggest to you that your haters are your elevators to greater purpose. Thank God for your haters because favour is not what you have but who Has you.

Your famine is about to encounter a rapid extinction. Your breakthrough shall prevail against the inconvenience of your history. You were created for a purpose, there’s a seed of greatness wresting in the inside of you.

The Seed in You

Little minds kill big dreams, during a season of a shift, criticism will abound and so will loneliness. How does the flesh accomplish what one’s received in the spirit?  The flesh is the space that’s too small, your mind cannot conceive what your spirit has perceived! Psalm 40:6, Do not allow your mind to subjucate your spirit,  you’re the carrier of what God gave to you. Genesis 1:11. The life of a seed is in itself.(2 Corinthians 4:16). 

Be careful about those people that won’t greet you in the valley but will run yonder to greet you and shake your hand with vehemence when you get to the top of the mountain. If they do not regard you in the shadows of the valley , how blissful and good-intended are they on the glory that abounds on the mountain.

You’ve been packaged like a seed, the seed requires to fall into the ground, it’s not the seed that’s wrought, it’s the ground that’s barren, if good seed falls on hard ground good seed can’t produce, I propose to you that the seed is not the problem, John 1:1-10. Bad ground will make you look bad, it’s not just important to be good seed but have relative soil equivalent to the greatness within the seed. Do something that will break you.

Don’t worry about getting good seed, worry about getting good ground, because having a good seed planted on bad ground is nonprofitting. Run away from little minds,  because they kill big dreams!

Your potential is BIGGER than your problem

Your potential outweighs and is bigger than your problem. You may not look like much, but you got potential, there’s a seed of greatness wresting within you. The devil does not mess with anybody who doesn’t have positive polarity. The only reason why the devil wants to destroy you is not because of your problem but because of your potential. 

And many at times people will focus on your somehow inert problem and issue and overlook the sea of potential in you,  but don’t give up, don’t give in,  you’re an overcomer, through Christ, we’re made whole 

Never allow people to define you by where they met you or how they got to know you, or what they’ve heard about you but by the image and standard of your lord and master, Jesus, because only the Potter can mould the clay, and only the creator can muster the mechanics and the robotics and dictate the pattern of the creature. Only the manufacturer of a product understands the exact measure of standard of the production line.

Don’t worry about getting good seed, worry about getting good ground, because having a good seed planted on bad ground is nonprofitting. 

Plant yourself in the perfect will of God,  His spirit will teach and guide you through His indelible eyes. He’ll set you apart and lead you into His rest. Allow God to break you, mould you, use you and fill you.  Hive yourself and give your life to the potter’s hands. 

There’s a psychology that rhymes with theology, get the right mindset with the word of God. The value of your life is not in what you have but in who you are. Know who you are! You’re an itch that only God’s grace can scratch.

From the beginning God’s relationship has been that between father and son. God’s order is established through Fatherhood. 

Fatherhood establishes order. There are 3 kinds of fathers: 

1. Our heavenly father, we respond to our heavenly father through worship. Without worship we cannot have His presence. 

2. Our biological father, Eph 6. We respond to our biological father and mother through Honor. Honor is not only an attitude of the heart but a physical demonstration of extended support (monetary or materially) 

3. Spiritual father, you respond to your spiritual father by double honor.  Spiritual things have the power to control natural things. 1 Tim 17:18 

There’s a generational inheritance that God is releasing to sons through fatherhood.  We align to spiritual capital through honoring spiritual parents. You cannot be an effective minister without a spiritual Geneology. Who is your father? There’s nobody who grows out of themselves. 

A spiritual Father brings order in one’s life. A spiritual father’s words resigns and resigns ones life. Spiritual fathers circumsize and correct bluntness

Receiving of inheritance is institutional and based on one’s honor to his or her father. The father’s voice is important. His voice is critical for your progress. 

Submission therefore improves functionality. Anointing is oil but a covering is protection. God anoints the father because He knows as long as the Father is anointed so will the sons be anointed. The greatest compliment that a father can give to a son is correction. 

It is the honor we give our father that provokes him to bless us. Honor is both spiritual and and tangible. Blessings proceed from a satisfied heart.  When your father is satisfied you receive indelible blessing. 

What you perceive is what you will receive. You’re not blessed because you’re powerful buy because you’re connected.
